Administration

Mrs. Martel is excited to transition to principal at the Hill Elementary School.  She has been the assistant principal at the Hill for the past 12 years.  Prior to this, she was a middle school math teacher and a math coach.  She has a B.S from Stonehill College, and a M.S. from Boston College.   She has her CAGS from Salem State and is Nationally Board Certified.  She is excited to continue her work with the Hill School students and families.

Ms. McLaughlin is very happy to be at Hill Elementary after 9 years as an Assistant Principal at the Susan B. Anthony Middle School. Since 2000, she was an ELA teacher and then a Literacy Coach in RPS. She holds a B.A. in English from Salem State University, an M.Ed. from Lesley University, a CAGS in Educational Leadership, as well as certification as a Reading Specialist from Gordon College. She is so excited to learn from a new group of students and teachers, and to get to know and help families.

Assistant Principal

Ms. Potsidis is an assistant principal at the Hill School. Her 9 years of teaching experience at the Hill include teaching English Language Learners, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade. Ms. Holmes has a B.A. from the University of Connecticut, an M.ED from Boston University, and a CAGS from Salem State University. She is excited to continue working with the Hill community as part of the administrative team.

Administrative Assistant

Ms. Marcela is the administrative assistant here at the Hill Elementary School. She has been at the Hill School for 12 years. She has a background in Accounting and Administration and is fluent in both English and Spanish. She was born and raised in Mexico. She is so happy to assist the families of the Hill School.
